WooWoo Newsletter December 2021

We hope this newsletter finds you well and that you are about to spend your holidays with people you hold dear.

Looking Back

For us at WooWoo, 2021 was an incredibly busy year that presented many challenges in connection with COVID-19 as well as heightened interest in waterless toilets across our whole product range.

We launched the new, innovative Separett Tiny in the UK in April and have seen a broad range of people install them in everything from houses to boats and camper vans. It came as no surprise when the Tiny was recognised with the European Product Design Award (ePDA) in the category “Sustainable living/Environmental preservation/Rural sustainable design” at the tail end of 2021.

Our Air Head compost toilets were also in unprecedented demand throughout the whole year, which meant waiting times were well over two months on occasions. As we end the year, Air Head is still in short supply, but production seems to be catching up somewhat.

Over the summer, we launched our WooWoo GT, a large capacity batch-composting toilet, which has become a favourite of camping and glamping sites.

Looking Forward

Despite extreme raw material and transportation price rises, so far we have been able to keep our retail prices unchanged, however, there will be some price increases in 2022 as Separett, WooWoo GT and Kazuba products will all increase in price in the first quarter. The good news is that we recently received an indication that some raw materials, such as wood, are starting to stabilise now but what happens next year is still anyone’s guess!

During the first quarter of 2022, we plan to offer a ceramic bowl option to go with the new WooWoo GT. Subject to your building having enough clearance, the ceramic toilet brings a familiar ‘home’ feeling and appearance where this is desired!

WooWoo are also launching a Kazuba toilet with even higher capacity and we already have plans to install these as public toilets at various playgrounds, parks, beaches and car parks across the UK.

We are also very excited about a few other projects but these will remain secret for now. Watch this space for more news soon! You can follow us on Facebook and Instagram if you would like us to pop up in your news feed every now and then…

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
