The Separett Sanitoa Toilet is an easy to use toilet that can be placed anywhere, requiring no installation or services. After use, the user places a handful of cover material over their offering to suppress odours. No separation takes place, so be aware that the inner container may fill quite quickly.
The Separett Sanitoa Toilet is what is known as a cottage toilet and can be used indoors or outdoors. There is no separation, so both urine and solids drop into the inner container, unlike a urine diverting compost toilet (where urine is diverted outside).
After using the toilet, you will need to cover whatever you’ve done with a natural ‘cover material’, such as sawdust, fine wood chippings, leaf mold etc. which both visually covers everything, but also creates an odour barrier to keep smells locked inside.
The toilet comes with a pack of 10 compostable bags, which can be discarded in a safe area without impacting on the environment, or composted in the usual manner.
The Sanitoa can be used free standing (and moved around if required) or screwed to the floor for a more permanent installation.

It’s good but the quality of the plastic is not good enough so it’s a little difficult to keep clean.
