Thinking of becoming an affiliate to earn some extra cash?

This page explains how the WooWoo Waterless Toilets affiliate programme works. Please read the following important information – you must agree with our terms and conditions to become an affiliate. We encourage you to download a copy (as PDF) to keep for reference.

The affiliate program is open to people, influencers and organisations that already have a presence or exposure within the market sectors that we operate in. We review all applications and reserve the right to refuse an application.

With our affiliate program, we primarily work within the UK and Ireland, and whilst we can send products to the EU, there are some issues such as VAT and import duty that make it less attractive since Brexit. We do not sell outside of Europe.

Setting Up an Affiliate Account and Earning Commission

To set up an Affiliate Account, complete the signup form on our Website. We will review your application and let you know the outcome, usually within 48 hours. If successful, you will receive a unique code which will form part of a product link, uniquely identifying you as the source of the link.

When someone clicks on a link you have created with your code, a unique cookie will be set on their computer which is usually valid for up to 90 days. This cookie identifies your affiliate link to our website and if they make a purchase within this period, the sale will be attributed to you. If the user clears their cookies or has their browser set to delete cookies, the unique identifier is lost – this is beyond our control. If you think this has happened to a referral of yours, please let us know and we can work out a separate arrangement for this customer.

Sales made to people using the affiliate link, whilst the unique cookie is active, will be recorded against your account. The affiliate dashboard on our website enables you to track the number of successful referrals, the number of unpaid and paid referrals and other useful information.

We pay commission on the sale price of our products and no commission will be paid on any delivery charges or sales taxes paid by the customer.

The affiliate rate is 5% (on the VAT exclusive price of the products, excluding shipping).

Payments

Payments are made in GBP (pounds sterling) to your UK bank account. Once you have made your first affiliate sale, we will ask you to provide us with your bank details.

Payments are made by the end of the month, following the month of the sale. For example, an affiliate-generated sale in January will get the commission paid by the end of February.

It is your responsibility to declare affiliate income to the Inland Revenue.

Relationship Between Affiliates and WooWoo Waterless Toilets

Being accepted on our affiliate programme does not make you or WooWoo an agent or partner of the other. You agree that you will not promote yourself as an agent or employee of WooWoo Waterless Toilets or any brands sold by WooWoo. You will not make any representation or indicate that you are acting on behalf of WooWoo, beyond the fact that you are earning a commission through our affiliate scheme.

Your Obligations as a WooWoo Waterless Toilets Affiliate

You agree that you will:

(a) follow our reasonable instructions and requests in relation to your relationship with us as an affiliate;

(b) always promote WooWoo Waterless Toilets, together with the brands and products that we sell, in the best light and as we would seek to do so ourselves, and not make or publish any statement which is disparaging or negative;

(d) be familiar with our products and have an understanding of how they work and where they would be most suitable (speak to us if you’re unsure);

(e) bear all costs and expenses incurred in connection with your activities as a WooWoo Affiliate;

(f) be clear and open to your audience that you are promoting an affiliate link;

You also agree that you will not:

(a) make any statement, representation or warranty, that is not also expressly clear on our website;

(b) register a domain name, email address or company name that is identical or similar to WooWoo’s;

(d) create or have created on your behalf a digital presence (whether via a website, social media or in other ways) that could reasonably be considered by anyone visiting it to be owned or maintained by us;

(e) promote your Affiliate link using unsolicited emails;

(f) promote your Affiliate link in a way that may cause offence to others, including competitors;

(g) make statements about our products or company that are not true.

WooWoo Waterless Toilets are keen for you to promote us through our brand name ‘WooWoo’ or ‘WooWoo Waterless Toilets’.

Where possible, mention ‘WooWoo’ or ‘WooWoo Waterless Toilets’ before the manufacturer, such as ‘WooWoo Waterless Toilets distribute the Separett Villa urine-diverting toilet’.

Termination and Closure of Inactive Accounts

You are under no obligation to meet any quotas, however, we reserve the right to close an affiliate account if it is inactive for twelve months or more.

You can choose to leave our Affiliate programme at any time, for any reason, by notifying us that you wish to do so. We will then close your account. Any commission which has not already been paid to you at the date that your account is closed will be paid through to you in the normal payment cycle, i.e. by the end of the month following the month the commission was earned.

We can close your affiliate account at any time, for any reason, by giving you thirty (30) days’ notice by email. Any commission which has not already been paid to you at the date that your account is closed will be paid through to you on our next payment date.

We can also close your affiliate account with immediate effect if you breach any of these terms and do not remedy that breach (if capable of remedy) within fourteen days of notice from us. Once your account has been closed no further commission will be payable, including any commission which has accrued to your account but has not yet been paid to you.

If your membership of our affiliate programme is terminated for any reason you will be entitled to receive any unpaid commission as registered on your affiliate account dashboard, unless payment is excluded for any reason set out in the above paragraphs. You will not be entitled to, or have any claim against WooWoo Waterless Toilets for, compensation of any sort.
