Flexible silicone moulding/seal that pushes into the channel on the base of the Villa toilets to provide a seal and stop liquids from getting under the toilet.
Since Brexit, the process of selling to non-UK customers (including those in Ireland!) has changed but we don’t want our customers to pay more so we are offering to refund your customs duties and admin fees.
VAT generally evens itself
out
You will find that our price is reduced
when selling to non-UK countries. This is because we don’t
charge UK VAT (20%) if a customer wants their toilet sent to
an address outside the UK.
Instead, the customer will be requested to pay VAT on the import once the package enters its destination country. Across Europe the VAT rate is usually also somewhere around 20% so the saving made by not paying UK VAT is generally evened out by having to then pay local VAT when the package enters its destination country.
Customs duty/admin fees
You
may also be charged customs duty and in some cases even an
admin fee when the package crosses the border. If this
happens, make sure you keep your receipt so you can forward
it to us. When we receive your receipt, we will refund these
extra fees back to your account.
In short…
Our non-UK based
customers shouldn’t have to pay more for their products than
our customers in the UK.
If you’re unsure about anything, please don’t hesitate to get in contact with our friendly team.

Great stuff, squishes to fit, but a bit of a pain to fit after you’ve fitted the toilet – needs to be fitted before you attach the pipes!

Thanks for your review. As you discovered, it’s definitely something to fit before the toilet is installed as you need clear access underneath. Depending on your flooring, an alternative would be to run some sanitary silicone around the join between the base and floor.
