The Villa Extend Accessory Kit is for use with the Villa Extend Compost Toilet. It includes a 50 litre container to be installed outside the property, underneath the Villa Extend compost toilet.

The Villa Extend Accessory Kit (previously known as the Villa 9020 Accessory Kit) includes the parts needs to install an underfloor solids collection chamber (accessible from the outside), and is ideal where your building has sufficient ground clearance. In addition to being accessible from the outside, the solids container has over twice the capacity of the container within the standard Villa, so needs emptying much less often.
Included Parts:
2 x 50 Litre solids containers
1 x Lid with hole for solids pipe (approx 160mm external diameter)
1 x Lid without hole (to allow one container to ‘sit’)
160mm external diameter solids ‘chute’, approx. 1.25 metre long (can be cut to size)
Connecting ring (attaches/detaches solids ‘chute’ to the container)

Although it’s not essential to use this with the Villa Extend – you are free to make up your own collection system for under the toilet, this does make installation more straightforward.
Will it fit?
The containers have a maximum diameter of 475mm and a height of 465mm. However, you will need to allow clearance for the sliding collar (630mm from floor) and then to be able to slide that collar up the pipe in order to remove the container. Separett suggests that the minimum distance between the underside of the floor and the ground (upon which the solids container sits) should be 730mm to allow free movement of the connecting ring.

The 1 m pipe of 160 mm diameter does NOT FIT the collar attachment and needed considerable removal of material before it would do so.
It should never have been sent to you like this and the suppliers should re-engineer or re-specify the collar.

Thanks for your feedback and flagging this up. We’ve been in touch with Separett who have checked their existing stock and have discovered that in some cases, the collar has not been manufactured according to the original specifications. They are going back to their supplier and will get new parts which they’ll send to us and in turn, we’ll send to you which should rectify this issue.
