Description

The Separett Waterseal Urine Waste Pipe 32mm is for use with urine-diverting compost toilets, in the unlikely event that there are issues with odours from soak-away pits coming back into the toilet. It is compatible with the Tiny, Villa (all models), as well as the Weekend 7010, models.

Included parts:

– 1 pc T-pipe Ø32-40 mm
– 1 pc U-bend pipe
– 2 wall mounts

The Waterseal Urine Waste Pipe forms an odour trap to ensure that no odours can escape from where the liquid waste (urine) is deposited. Typically, this should never be a problem if the compost toilet is installed properly. However, soak-away pits and usage of other water inputs, such as a sink, can mean that odours come back up into the toilet. This accessory provides a u-bend, in which odours can be trapped.

The trap should be installed horizontally and in an accessible location. The included ‘T’ connector enables you to tap into some existing 40mm grey water pipework, if available.

When installing a trap, we strongly recommend using a product to reduce urine calcification – such as the Separett Bio Drain tablets, or regular ‘flushing’ with a 50/50 white vinegar/water solution.

Delivery to a non-UK address? No Problem!

Since Brexit, the process of selling to non-UK customers (including those in Ireland!) has changed but we don’t want our customers to pay more so we are offering to refund your customs duties and admin fees.

VAT generally evens itself out
You will find that our price is reduced when selling to non-UK countries. This is because we don’t charge UK VAT (20%) if a customer wants their toilet sent to an address outside the UK.

Instead, the customer will be requested to pay VAT on the import once the package enters its destination country. Across Europe the VAT rate is usually also somewhere around 20% so the saving made by not paying UK VAT is generally evened out by having to then pay local VAT when the package enters its destination country.

Customs duty/admin fees
You may also be charged customs duty and in some cases even an admin fee when the package crosses the border. If this happens, make sure you keep your receipt so you can forward it to us. When we receive your receipt, we will refund these extra fees back to your account.

In short…
Our non-UK based customers shouldn’t have to pay more for their products than our customers in the UK.

If you’re unsure about anything, please don’t hesitate to get in contact with our friendly team.
