All products and consumables come with a twelve-month warranty to cover manufacturing defects during this period. Spare parts have a three-month warranty period. Warranty periods commence from the date of delivery to you.
The warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by misuse, accidents, force, incorrect installation, normal ‘wear and tear’, or surface blemishes which do not detract from the functionality of the product.
Items under warranty returned to us for inspection and repair are returned at the customer’s expense and risk. Alternatively, we may send a replacement part to you, however, we may ask you to return the faulty part for assessment.
Certain products come with an additional warranty provided by the manufacturer for consumers (not business users) as follows:
The Air Head comes with a 5-year warranty to cover manufacturing defects during that period. The fan is covered by a 3-year warranty, provided that it has not been tampered with or subjected to water ingress.
The cabin and toilet system have a two-year warranty.
The composting chambers have a 10 year manufacturers warranty. Porcelain pedestals have a 4 year warranty. Toilet seats, electrical components (fan & transformer) and other installation accessories have a 1 year warranty.
Separett urine-diverting toilets have a 5-year manufacturers warranty on manufacturing defects. The fan, if present, is covered by a 3-year warranty. Warranty does not cover wear and tear or issues arising from lack of maintenance. When installed/used in a business or commercial setting, the warranty is 1-year. No liability is offered if the product has been used in any form of rental activity.
Separett incinerating toilets are covered by a 3-year warranty with the following exclusions: Heating element: 1 year, ash pan: 2 years, and thermal sensor: 2 years. When installed/used in a business or commercial setting, the warranty is 1-year. No liability is offered if the product has been used in any form of rental activity.
The WooWoo GT toilet body, base, chute and associated fittings are covered by a 5-year warranty. Fans, seats and fixings have a 1-year warranty.
The wooden WooWoo Loo cabins come with a one-year warranty covering manufacturing defects. However, wood, being a natural product, will expand and contract with changes in temperature and humidity. The warranty does not cover splits or knots shrinking/falling out, ripples that may appear in the roofing or damage/failure due to extreme weather.
Any amendments or alterations to the building or the installed contents not made by WooWoo Waterless Toilets, may affect the warranty. All warranties are subject to ‘reasonable use’ by the customer, an expectation that the cabin has been assembled, located and operated as described in these instructions, and that any maintenance required has been performed.
