Northern Roots ‘Pizza Oven’ Kazuba Toilet!

Northern Roots is creating the UK’s largest urban farm and eco-park on 160 acres of stunning green space in the heart of Oldham, Greater Manchester. It’s a unique new community asset and visitor destination with a clear vision: “Harnessing urban green space to benefit people, planet and place.”

The requirement from Northern Roots was to have a low-maintenance eco-friendly waterless toilet within the facility for volunteers to use. The Kazuba KL1 fitted the bill perfectly and has proven a great asset.

Justine from Northern Roots said “A passer-by once stopped me to ask if it was a pizza oven! The toilet is not open to the public, only to the onsite volunteers and beekeepers. The big selling point for me was that it is very low maintenance. Money well spent as far as I’m concerned.”
