Brent Council happy with low-maintenance Kazuba waterless toilets on allotment sites

In the years spanning from 2014 to 2016, Brent Council had purchased Kazuba toilets from WooWoo for a handful of their allotment sites.

Impressed by the quality of the product, the council reached out to WooWoo once again in 2021. This time, they were in need of waterless toilets for three additional allotments.

The Kazuba toilets don’t require water, electricity, sewage, or even chemicals to function. Instead, they use the sun and wind to dry and evaporate waste, making them the ultimate sustainable solution for any outdoor space.

In addition, the Kazuba KL2 model is fully accessible for wheelchair or limited mobility users.

Councillor Krupa Sheth, Cabinet Member for Environment, Infrastructure and Climate Action, said: β€œIt is great to hear the positive feedback we have had from residents at Clifford Road and Nutfield Road allotments. I am so glad residents are happy with the new toilets, which are energy efficient, easy to look after, and very low maintenance.”
