Karen from ‘Friends of Greenaway Avenue Community Garden’ recently sent us some photos of their WooWoo Loo GT Accessible composting toilet.
WooWoo installed the building and toilet, whilst their volunteers painted the outside and added personal touches to the inside.
They emailed us to say:
I just wanted to show you our beautiful loo in situ! We’re very pleased with it and will be testing it out properly this weekend when we’re open as part of E17 Open Gardens!

Years of planning and fundraising finally came to fruition thanks to the generosity of members, local supporters and funding partners, in particular Waltham Forest ward councillors, the National Lottery and the Co-op. The project marks an important step in making the garden more welcoming and practical for longer visits and community activities.
We think they’ve done a brilliant job in painting and finishing it, and congratulate the community for pulling together!
